Based in Berlin and born in Helsinki, Finland, Tomi Paasonen shares his time making pieces for Kunst-Stoff, a multimedia dance- and art production company he co-founded in San Francisco in 1998 and PAA (Public Artistic Affairs) in Europe where he directs stage art, creates choreographic structures, makes short films and video installations, interactive works and photography.
He also worked with the over 70-year old disabled woman, author and dancer Tuuli Helkky Helle, first in a dance production and further in an intimate collaboration that produced a powerful set of photographic portraits of the fascinating Tuuli.
